After the extraordinary success of the first ICCOS EMEA at the Hilton Amsterdam in September 2009, we are delighted to announce and invite your participation in the next ICCOS EMEA which will be held March 20 - 23, 2011 at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos in Barcelona, Spain.

The expansion of ICCOS over the last 15 years, from a seminar principally targeted at the large cash vaults to what is now seen as the premier global conference for commercial cash distribution and circulation, has been a targeted objective as we have increased presentations across every facet of the cash cycle: retailers, casinos, armored carriers/CITs, banks, cash processors and federal authorities - each with a critical part to play in the currency cycle.

ICCOS was traditionally held every 18 months in America. But after requests from Central Banks and Industry Suppliers, we commenced planning in 2008 for regional conferences in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia. The first ICCOS EMEA, held at a time when many conferences were being cancelled or very poorly attended, exceeded our expectations with 177 delegates from 25 countries.

Europe’s agenda was regionally focused with fascinating presentations from the following esteemed organizations: The Dutch National Bank, The European Payments Council, The European Central Bank, COOP Sweden, Altajo, The European Security Transport Association, Cash Logistik, The Central Bank of Hungary, G4S, The World Vending Association, Brinks, The University of Moscow, Munt Centrale, Prosegur, and the Dutch Retail Council.

There were 15 diverse sponsors with products that ranged across the whole cash cycle. The effort that these companies make in the creation of their exhibition booths and the thought process and dedication that goes into the breakout sessions is a large part of what makes ICCOS unique.
